Most individuals that are coming out of jail and prison oftentimes do not have basic needs including clothing, food, and hygiene products. Incarceration destabilizes an individual’s core needs that creates a cycle of poverty for many. Basic items such as clothing can help individuals start the process of reintegrating back into the community and feeling like themselves again.
